What's New:
The West Hill Baseball Annual General Meeting
was held on Thursday, September 27, 2007.
The Executives were chosen, and awards were given out to the following people who made exceptional contributions to our league in 2007: (click on the pictures below to show full size)
The Marcus Nazir Award, for a Rookie Ball player who displayed excellent sportsmanship and a love of the game, went to Eric Bradshaw.
On the left Eric receives his award from Al Reeves, and is shown with his family on the right.
Our Volunteer of the Year for 2007 was Chris Hamill.
Our Coach of the Year was John McMillen, right, shown here receiving his award from our President, Mike Hull.
Our Senior Umpire of the Year was Rian Bhoolai, left, shown here receiving his award from our Umpire-in-Chief, Dave Black.
Our Junior Umpire of the Year was Michael Edelhofer, left, shown here receiving his award from our Umpire-in-Chief, Dave Black.

2008 Executive Committee
Has Been Named
At the General Meeting held on September 27, 2007, the 2008 Executive
Committee was elected. We rely on community volunteers to run the league.
Our new executive is made up of people from various walks of life, all of
whom work hard to make the West Hill Baseball League a success. A listing of

of our website.
2007 Marcus
Nazir Award Winner Announced
Eric Bradshaw received the West Hill Minor Baseball and Families' Marcus
Nazir Memorial Award for 2007 during a special ceremony at the Heron Park
Community Centre. The award is presented to an inspirational player in
memory of Marcus Nazir, who died in January 2004 after battling leukemia.
